WHY
During my years of experience living, working and holidaying on boats around the world while harnessing my skills, I have discovered and experienced for myself the calming effects that being on the water can have for most people.
The gentle undulation of a boat not only has a calming effect on the nervous system but also brings on deeper relaxation far quicker than most environments. It also creates a sense of escapism that allow clients to release the day and come into the present moment quicker than many other techniques.
This fund is intended to go fully towards purchasing a boat with cruising capabilities so that I can cruise up and down the canals offering services not to only to my clients but also low/no-income boaters in need of assistance in the form of inspirational and motivational coaching.
The services offered on the boat will not be limited to 1-on-1 coaching and counselling sessions but will also offer a studio space for other wellness activities such as ecstatic dance, breathwork, meditation and yoga.
WHO
I have a unique set of skills - a leadership and life coach, with a degree in Psychology, robust global corporate leadership experience (from small startup to large listed companies), heaps of life experience (harnessed from decades of travel), a strong background in various wellness modailities, and a helmsman's certificate (which is actually quite rare on the canals)!
Due to my large and ever-growing toolkit (and hopefully soon a practice on the water), I am equipped to assist my clients in identifying their needs and selecting the best tools to meet these needs.
