Emergency help for me and my cats

Emergency help for me and my cats

From Karen Honeycutt

I'm raising money for my car and home so I can rebuild my life again with my beloved cats. Currently we are homeless, and I need to get my car back. I am without a support system, and I can't survive without my cats.

I never thought I'd be asking for help, I'm the giver, not a taker. This Summer, my building was structurely compromised by work for months at the townhome next to mine.  It was deemed an emergency, and we had to get out with a week's notice. I work remotely, so I had to get housing- so I joined Trusted Housesitters, which I cared for people's homes and their pets in exchange for accommodations.  I packed my belongings in storage, had my cats housed with a friend, and set off.  This worked well, as I was due to housesit for a longer stay at one location, but, then the car issue happened.  I was then without a car, I was in a remote area which had no car rental, so I rented a U-haul and drove to my last location.  I cannot get my car situation solved.  I can't afford it, and my belongings are in the car.  I can't get it unless I pay my car bill.  And now I'm stranded.  I can't get to my cats either.  Every bit of my income is paying on my loans, from a previous big car bill.  So I have depleted my extra funds, I can't get any loans, and I don't qualify for any assistance because I make too much money.  Apparently making any income qualifies as too much income.  I don't have a support system, and I am truly beyond much more rational thinking.  I cry a lot, and I've researched any and every job/solution possible.  It only takes one emergency to snowball into a devastating blow.  There has never been a time when I've been completely kicked down to the ground as I am now.  The holidays are very dark for me, If I didn't have hope for my cats, I'd be not here anymore. I'm just trying to smile again and bring joy, hope and love back to my home.  Please if you can help me and my cats, you'd be saving all our lives.
