Financial Help Needed For My Car and Language Lessons

Hi there,

My name is Eden, I hope your day has been full of blessings. I’m requesting financial assistance for fixing my car as well as language learning as I’m studying Arabic in hopes to build meaningful connections with my fellow Arabic speaking brothers and sisters in the U.S.A. or even overseas. 

Learning Arabic has given me a true appreciation for the people who attempt to learn other languages and are brave enough to make the endeavor to speak a different language to their own, despite the uncomfortability of the learning curve. This unique opportunity has given me a lot of humility, respect, inspiration, patience, and understanding for those who embark on the journey of learning any new skill, especially new languages. 

In my job (teaching surf lessons), I have a newfound perspective on just how blessed I am to get to meet people from all around the globe, with all sorts of unique talents, from so many varying occupations, cool interests, passions, gifts, etc…I love people, I especially take interest in learning about people from different countries and with differing cultures. As they learn from me and learn new skills, I in turn get to learn so much valuable knowledge and wisdom and I get to know this world more, the diversity of people and backgrounds therein, and I also get to see many smiles. These are some of the things that bring me the most joy in life, despite the pain in my body afterwards, ha ha.

I’ve faced a lot of crippling health challenges for basically my whole life, however I’d probably say that the last two and half years have hit me the hardest. In my senior year of highschool in 2019 or 2020 I almost died due to being prescribed the wrong medication for the actual condition I had (which was undiagnosed for far too long). 

After I graduated highschool I achieved my Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification (still undiagnosed) in the early wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. After a short time on the field the effects of my medicine took a dive for the worst. I had to go on disability for a little while because I hurt my back on the job and then what shot me down for those two and a half years was finally diagnosed. I experimented with at least ten different medications, but the slightest changes had a huge impact on my ability to function adequately and live life “normally.” I had horrible insomnia, daily nausea, appetite changes, severe depression and anxiety, hand tremors, headaches and migraines, etc…

That said, being unable to work for those years set me back on my finances quite a lot. My car needs an expensive repair and it’s going to take me some time to pay the car off and now this new problem that needs fixing. What would also be so helpful would be financial support for my language classes, it would also really motivate me to have generous people backing me up and supporting this dream of mine. 

My life’s goal is to make this world a better place, to show love, kindness, compassion, and mercy to all people as I’ve been shown by others, especially the outcasts in this world. I know the experiences of my past can be used to change the world, I will continue to share my story knowing that it can touch lives, perhaps even save them. Some of my biggest mission’s are to bring hope to those in despair. I desire to be a friend to the friendless, to feed the hungry, help the poor, and comfort people who are hurting, to help heal people’s various mental, physical, and spiritual wounds as best as I possibly can, and to lend a listening ear to those who have felt unheard or unimportant. I’m aware that these efforts take a village, but I want to be a part of helping change and renew this world for the best.
