I am a 28 year old teacher. I have been teaching for 6 years and I love my job. I was paying regularly on my student loans, but with inflation, I fell behind and could no longer afford my student loan payments.
My Sallie Mae student loan, which is currently $95,000, is offering me a special offer of paying them $38,000 and having the full loan paid off. I cried when I was given this option because this will absolutely change my life, but of course, I do not have $38,000 to give them.
As a working teacher, I am asking for any help I can receive to pay this settlement with Sallie Mae. I will be grateful for any help I can receive. Thank you.
