This is so hard to ask strangers for help. Here is our story: I have been trying to find ways to help pay for our daughter's travel volleyball since she made a National travel team. I am on disability. To some I may "look" ok but I suffer with failed back surgery syndrome, degenerative disc disease, cervical stenosis, and copd (no oxygen needed. Just an inhaler). I tried in the past to continue to work but my body said no more. I now try to be the best support for our daughter and do what I can at home for her. She is a high school Freshman. She has been diagnosed with adhd and anxiety. Sports has really allowed her to put focus into achieving a goal. If you know anyone with adhd then you know that staying on one thing is very hard to do without losing focus at what's at hand.

My wife is the best thing anyone could hope and pray for. She is dedicated to helping others before herself. She is selfless and I admire her for that. Part of why I am asking for your help is to take pressure off of her. Her career is very stressful. She is a Radiation Therapist. She helps cancer. She sees good people that she one day finds out they will never make it back for treatment because cancer took them from this earth. It's a hard job.

We married very young and had a child. I had a good job years ago that helped with bills and even paid for my wife's college because I didn't want us to be a statistic of a failed teen marriage. Our house was flooded 3 years later and we lost everything. Insurance paid for repairs to the house but not our personal belongings. Life has been like that for our 28 years of marriage. We get ahead just for life to take it back. That is another reason why we need your help.

As I stated above, I'm on disability. My wife works hard as a Radiation Therapist but she has also taken on side jobs like teaching classes for Radiation Therapy at a local college, Doordash, and face painting to assist in bills.

Our daughter is everything to us. As a parent we always try to give our kids the best opportunities to succeed. We hope you understand our situation and able to help us. May God bless you and keep you and your family safe and warm this winter.

Thanks again for anything you can do. We greatly appreciate it.
