On the second anniversary of the war, my dear friend Artem is down to his last drone near Bakhmut. I visited him and his friends there a few months ago. I'm raising funds to get them the supplies they need to survive.

As many of you know, I've been supporting my dear friend and cinematographer Artem Ryzhykov since the Russian invasion. He volunteered for the army soon after the war began. Last August I brought him medical supplies and met his comrades in the trenches near Bakhmut. With US support slipping, Artem and hundreds of thousands of other Ukrainians are desperate and without supplies. Any funds that I can raise will go directly to this trench to provide them with whatever they need (batteries, clothes, etc.). If we can keep Artem and the Ukrainian cause in our hearts, one day we'll all be able to celebrate at my home outside Kyiv with a glass of Artem's wine (he planted a vineyard before the war), in freedom and peace.
