I am running the Austin CAP10K run to raise funds for Phoenix House in Tx, USA and NY Horizons in the UK. They help people recover from alcohol and drug addiction and foster healthy and sustainable living post recovery.

In January 2019 my amazing daughter Sara sadly took her own life. A major factor contributing to this was a long term battle with alcohol addiction. North Yorkshire Horizons is a drug and alcohol recovery charity in the UK who had worked with Sara very recently. They provide tailor made support to help those recover from alcohol and drug addiction as well as foster healthy and sustainable living post recovery. Phoenix House located in Austin and Dallas Tx are my local charities who also provide such services for people struggling with addiction. I will be competing in the Austin State capital 10 kms run on April 07 2019. All funds raised from this will go to these charities to continue treating young people suffering from addiction.
