2/2 Marines bad paper upgrade fund

2/2 Marines bad paper upgrade fund

From Aidan Chavasse

This is for the Marines who were refused psychiatric treatment in 2/2 warlords. The court-martials were expedited to prevent this. One Marine has committed suicide, and many are without medical benefits, and good jobs.

These Marines could use their good names cleared, and this will also aid their families. They will gain access to medical help and PTSD treatment, better employment, family benefits, education funds, and survivors benefits.

In addition to having been given these court-martials in expedited fashion, the majority of these Marines have been turned away for VA benefits, illegally, as have several hundred thousand veterans with bad paper. There has been a rash of suicides, hospitalizations, incarcerations, family problems, homelessness, and divorce among our veterans, and it is multiplied in this group.

The cost is immense to society, and would be mitigated by investing in restoring these Marines into valued members of their community. We have already had one suicide in this group, and  others have had serious problems.

We will get in contact with everyone we have, and share legal information with each other, and have are getting statements, even from people in leadership positions around this time, and the military has already officially changed the way they handle these situations. A law was passed to make the process easier for people in these situations in 2017, and the VA has since changed it's policy, after investigation, press, and punishment on the matter.

We will go try to discern the Marines who need this the most, and those most important to making the process easier for the other Marines. The fundraiser will go on several years, even if we have to do one Marine at a time each year.
