I am raising money to continue to support our fostering program for the remainder of this year. We currently have over 40 puppies in foster care and are in the process of rescuing several more pregnant mom dogs.

Hello. My name is Michelle Johnson and I am the Vice-Chair of Fosters & Paws Board, a non-profit organization created to assist local community shelters' foster programs.
Fosters & Paws is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to promote the welfare and rescue of homeless pets and provide fulfillment for people through pet foster care while supporting community shelters.
Our all-volunteer organization was founded to help rescue homeless animals and support local shelters through fostering in the Sacramento, CA area. In our community, our shelters are overcrowded. Foster parents for animals are challenged with being provided adequate tools, resources and supplies to properly care for their foster animal. Our goal is to continue to support our fosters and local shelters by pulling pregnant/nursing dogs and puppies and placing them into foster homes where the mom dog can raise and ween her babies until their are old enough for a spay/neuter and ultimately adopted!
I'm looking to raise at least $20,000 for the remainder of this year to help pay for vaccines, deworming, puppy food, toys, bedding, and if possible a spay/neuter.
I have personally been a foster for the past several years now and I can't tell you what joy it brings to my and my pack at home to be able to help these babies and their moms get healthy and adopted. I find great satisfaction and pure joy taking care of these dogs/puppies as do other fosters!
Thank you for reading my story and supporting our cause!
