This fundly is to honor our friend Kiara Laurent. Kiara is a dream defender, vegan, abolitionist, loving person, and friend to anyone and everyone she meets.
Unfortunately, this beautiful soul has had to deal with financial hardship after financial hardship as of late. In October of 2019, Kiara was informed that she would lose her position as a supervisor because the business she worked at was closing. Kiara has always worked full-time while being a full-time student. Although she found more work, she has had trouble getting all the hours she needs to support herself.
Additionally, as of late, her car was broken into and her credit cards were stolen. While she was able to cancel the cards and contest the purchases, this was an extremely anxiety inducing event. To make matters worse, her laptop broke directly after this even and as a student who has to complete classes online, this is some of the worst news she can hear. Kiara has restored to working, doing side gigs such as babysitting and braiding hair all while being a full time student and full time activist. This lifestyle has been tremendously exhausting for her and she constantly feels burned out.
We are just asking for anything you can give to help our friend. She is extremely hard-working, kind, and has always fought for those without a voice. She is going through a really tough time and needs support. Any amount will be appreciated, anything. We just want to take some financial strain off of our good friend.
