To finish my Bachelors degree from the College of Biblical Studies - Houston. I have 7 classes remaining to finish. My journey began in 2012. Life has been tough but I am not giving up. It would mean so much to graduate.

After feeling called to serve and attempt to make a positive difference in the world, someone suggested to me a school in a state that I had never been to. But in a leap of faith, in 2012, I packed up my bags and drove to Houston, Texas from Miami, Florida to begin my studies. I didn't know where I was going to be staying and had no living arrangements, but like I mentioned, I took a leap of faith, and two hours away from arriving in Houston, my aunt called and told me about a couple who were friends of my late aunt who would allow me to stay at their house while I went to school! But three months later, they were kicking me out due to some religious differences. I was able to find a roommate who went to the school I was attending. Things were going well. School was going well. Then one day, our apartment complex caught fire and all the apartments had smoke damage and deemed unsalvageable. So my roommate left and moved back to his home state of Arizona. I had to quickly find and apartment. This is when the financial hardships began and started affecting my studies as I was getting closer to graduating. Ultimately, I couldn't continue and my life has not been easy since. I've had to battle depression and my father died during this period which didn't help matters. Now, 12 years after beginning the journey, I am working on getting my life back in order and I know finally graduating and getting my degree will be the foundation. These funds will be going towards tuition and related class materials. The sooner I can reach the goal is the sooner I can apply and get this done! I will keep you all posted on my progress.

My story is not the worse, but your help would go beyond just education. It will help with my confidence and ultimately my mental health. It will open up new opportunities for me to build a better life for myself and my family. It will allow me to fulfill my purpose. Thank you for considering my cause.
