I have always had a dream to bring happiness to others through my love of Star Wars. It is a dream that can only be truly achived by joining an elite group of volunteers know as the 501st Legion, an organization of "Bad Guys, Doing Good" that participate in charity and special events in screen accurate costumes. These evens include hospital visitations (i.e. children's hospitals), special charity events, festivals, and other assorted community events.

In order to achieve that goal, I need to acquire a screen accurate helmet and armor as most of my suit is already complete. The 501st has stringent requirements in their approval process and the helmet and armor are no exception. These custom made pieces are considered high quality works of art and are hand crafted. I would be honored if you would help me realize this dream and would appreciate any assistance you are able to provide.

Here is a summary of the group that I wish to join and the reason for this fundraiser...From the 501st Legion:“…The Legion is an all-volunteer organization formed for the express purpose of bringing together costume enthusiasts under a collective identity within which to operate. The Legion seeks to promote interest in Star Wars through the building and wearing of quality costumes, and to facilitate the use of these costumes for Star Wars-related events as well as contributions to the local community through costumed charity and volunteer work…”“While the 501st was initially founded to unite costumers with a penchant for Star Wars villainy, one of our real-world missions is to bring good to our communities through volunteer charity work. The 501st is always looking for opportunities to brighten the lives of the less fortunate and to bring awareness to positive causes on both a local and global scale. For more information on the legion, visit our home page at
