Bethany House's 18th Annual Charity Golf Outing will take place on Monday, July 28th at Pine Hollow. This year's honoree is Lou D'Agostino of Iron Cove Partners.
Louis D'Agostino is a Partner and Senior Vice President of Iron Cove Partners, LLC, a Whitmore Group, Ltd. Co. where he is responsible for the oversight and management of a Unit within Iron Cove dedicated to addressing the unique and complex risk management needs of companies engaged in the arena of financial services (i.e. Private Equity Funds, Hedge Funds, Investment Advisors, Securities/Dealers, Mutual Funds and the like). He is also intimately involved in a variety of business development and corporate initiatives as well as being a vital member of the Whitmore Group, Ltd. Senior Management Team.
Before assuming his role at Iron Cove, Lou had spent his previous ten years at Frank Crystal & Co., a 75-year old insurance brokerage agency headquartered in NYC. Prior to his time at Frank Crystal & Co., Lou was a running back with the NY Jets (96' & 97') and had played on several other teams in both Florida and in New York.
Lou D'Agostino is involved in a variety of philanthropic endeavors and personally supports a number of charities. Recently he was honored for his work and fund raising efforts for the Cooley's Anemia Foundation. Lou continues to serve on the Golf Committee for Bethany House among his many commitments, and most recently had the privilege of co-chairing the Coaches vs. Cancer event for the American Cancer Society.
As a result of his extensive community involvement, coupled with his diligent business development initiatives, Mr. D'Agostino was named to Long Island Business News' 2013 40 Under 40 Rising Stars in Business.
Lou currently resides in Hewlett, NY with his wife Lori Ann and their four children: Anthony, Louis Jr., Isabella & Michael.
Bethany House is indeed proud to honor Lou for his many accomplishments and more so, because he has never forgotten to help our women and children as they struggle through the crisis of homelessness.
