Children's Day for Dell

From Deleted User

We would like to give children at Dell Children's Medical Center coloring books on Children's day. Dell is always short in coloring books, so with your help, we can put more smiles on children's faces.

What can be more heart-warming than seeing kids smiling with joy?

We remember how when we were little, hospital had always seemed like a daunting place for us, whether it's the cold-white environment or the idea of "seeing a doctor", which made us being able to relate to children whenever we see them hiding behind their mom or dad's legs, peaking out with those curious eyes.

And because of that, as four pre-health students studying at University of Texas at Austin,  we wanted to do something that can make a hospital visit an enjoyable experience for every children.

Therefore, we reached out to Dell Children's Medical Center's Department Assistance and Coordinator, Josie Day, to discuss further steps we can take in order to take part in this "care-package giving". Josie kindly assisted and informed us that since the kids come and go a lot, they are always in need of coloring books. And with Children's Day coming up on Nov. 22th, we want to make use of this special day to give back and bring them happiness.

Why not join us giving out coloring books? With a small amount of donation, you can also make their lives colorful!
