Kim's Korner Coffee

Kim's Korner Coffee

From Kimberly Foster

I am seeking to open a coffee stand in a train station. It's a good opportunity if someone really does the work needed. I know I can make it work. Just need the capital.

More Info

I'm 58 years old and have been out of work for a year.  It's been one of the hardest years of my life.  I've not been out of work since I was 14.  I can't prove it's ageism, but it really can't be explained another way.  It's been a wild ride.  But there's an opportunity that has arisen and I think it's just what the doctor ordered.  Although it will be tough.  I'm half-way there.  Just need capital.  It's a coffee stand in a train station.  It's been neglected, and the customers tell me that it's just not open regularly.  That's something I can fix.  I've discussed it with the current owner, and they have given a reasonable price.  It needs work and while I have some of the money, I am not in a position to risk it all on a business venture.  I considered a loan, but again, I'm not in a position to risk default.  It's not a lot of money, and if I was working, I wouldn't hesitate.  But I'm not and what capital I have is sustaining me through this very scary period.  Still, I refuse to give up.  It's a good deal.  A really good deal.  If I have the capital.  Appreciate your time and consideration.
