On the 25th of May this year, 5 days out from his birthday my little brother lost his best friend and therapy cat Cuddles.
My little brother, Zack, has Autism and Cuddles assisted with meltdowns, night terrors, and general anxiety.
For a little over 5 years Cuddles has been by Zack's side to offer comfort, love and a friendship closer than he has ever, or probably will ever have.
This fundraiser will help in purchasing a CuddleClones Plush Replica from the American website "CuddleClones" These replicas are not cheap, and this is not something our mum and I can not afford on our own so we are asking for YOUR help.
Every donation, big or small willl go towards assisting my brother with his grief in the most effective way we can think of. He has a lot of stuffed toys and they have always brought him comfort, but to get him a replica of his best friend? It would mean the world to him. This toy would be literally priceless.
He is completely heartbroken and our small family is very afraid for him, we are all feeling very helpless at the moment. When I spoke to him he continued to ask me through his tears why did it have to be Cuddles? Why his best friend? Why now? ... it's just not fair.
Zack has been through so much in his almost 12 years of life, including the loss of our sister, having to be seperated from his father and moving from place to place. He has struggled with his Autism all his life and has deeply regressed since starting high school. He needed Cuddles to help him get through this mess. And now he's gone.
