Join us for a dog-friendly walk & jog. All ages and abilities are welcome!  Complete the full 5k (3.1 miles) or call it a day at the one-mile turn around. 

Look forward to meeting Coastal K9 volunteers walking with adoptable dogs as well as other fun pre and post-race activities!

This is a family fun run with no chip timing or street closures but that doesn’t mean you can't win a prize for being a top finisher!

Goal & Mission:

Coastal K9 German Shepherd Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for German Shepherds and mixed breed dogs. We are committed to caring for and finding homes for dogs that have been abandoned, neglected, abused, and relinquished at high kill shelters, regardless of age or physical ability.

Our mission is to educate the public about German Shepherds, their lifespan, personality, and activity level, along with overall responsible dog ownership. We also raise awareness of over population of animals through education, training, spaying and neutering. We work very hard to match each dog with the adoptive families.

Help us raise $18,000 at this event so we can create a special fund dedicated to providing sanctuary for our long-term, special needs and medical dogs who now call their Coastal foster families their own.
