My name is Greg Flores. I am a 100% P&T disabled veteran with a list of disabilities longer than my children's Christmas list. I am in a very unfortunate situation and I have tried searching for programs that will assist but was unsuccessful in doing so. I spent 14 months in Iraq from 2008 to 2009 with the Army. I am 36 years old but my body feels 90 and is progressively getting worse.
I am on here as I fell behind on my mortgage as my wife started developing health problems that they are still trying to figure out. They have not been able to pinpoint a diagnosis as of yet. I am the only source of income in our house currently, which is only my disability through the VA. We have 3 children, 7, 14, and 14. We are 23k behind on the mortgage and I cannot lose my house. I can afford the payments moving forward, but the mortgage company will not give us a loan modification and my credit is not good due to my conditions getting worse and not being able to work.
I am taking steps to get back on top and am currently enrolled in school to be able to get a career I enjoy and can do. This is literally my last resort and I didn't want to ask, but I cannot lose my home when I am finally getting everything back on track and in order. I don't want to lose everything I worked so hard to achieve. I don't have family or anyone else that can help either. I know this is terrible timing too with the holidays starting, but I'm begging, anything helps. Thank you for reading and happy holidays. Also, if needed, I am willing to answer any and all questions and can provide proof of everything.
I completely understand if you can't donate especially with the holidays. If you could at least spread this, I do not have social media so it is hard to get word out. I greatly appreciate everything and anything.
