Ryans Disaster relief for the Phillippines

Ryans Disaster relief for the Phillippines

From Ryan Rubey

In Haiyan's wake, the relief effort must deal with an enormous zone of destruction, making it very difficult to get food, water, temporary shelter, and medical supplies.

I know it's a lot to ask of you and there are probably many other things that you'd rather do with your hard earned money, but I guarantee that I will personally work with the relief organizations that are already in place to assure that all donations are spent for a good cause.

More Info

I wish to take part in the relief and aid of the victims of the typhoon last week in the Phillippines. I'm from the gulf coast and have been through a few hurricanes in my life but have never seen destruction on this scale. The United States has systems in play for this kind of domestic disaster(FEMA). Although the U.S. and other countries are offering aid the magnitude of this catastrophe warrants the attention of everyone who is in a position to help. If you are in such a position please give all that you can, if not to this charity then to the red cross or another similar organization.
