It takes an average to about 10 tries to leave until those affected by domestic violence finally escape for good. Domestic violence IS a problem in our society and it's very prevalent unfortunately. The misconception is that low-income households are the only ones affected, but that's not true. They are, however, the ones that have nowhere to turn to and no funds to leave. The Middle Way House is a home for those whose homes are no longer the safe place they should be. Let's help them out a bit with funding for all the great work that they do!
Every little bit counts whether it be $5 or more, think of yourself in this situation. What if your home was no longer a place you could returned to? If you donate just $20 I will personally mail you a thank you card, adorned with beautiful calligraphy. Who doesn't like getting letters in the mail? Right?
