DYSA is raising funds to be able to provide mentor activities, service learning projects, athletic training, and opportunities for competitive play for our youth members; especially, our graduating seniors.

Since 2017, Developing Youth through Sports, Social Skills, and Arts (DYSA), has helped 40+ boys and girls participate in Youth Travel Ball events and mentoring activities in our community. These boys and girls go on to be productive and successful students at their elementary, middle, high school, and college. More importantly, they were given the chance to develop confidence, to feel wanted, and to develop dreams for their future; dreams that have included becoming engineers, accountants, doctors, lawyers, business owners, and politicians.
In May 2021, we had 21 seniors graduate high school. 17 of those students enrolled in a college or university. The other 4 graduates went into the local workforce. We are excited to be working this year with high school girls as we start to shift more focus to our elementary and middle school youth.
Our goal for 2022 is to promote our athletes by providing them with opportunities to play the game they love and to gain valuable life skills. As we start our Spring 2022 campaign, we are seeking donations and or sponsorships to assist us with travel and costs associated with the upcoming tournaments, college visits, service learning projects, equipment, and the necessary PPE items such as masks and sanitizer. We are an NC-registered not-for-profit organization.
