Dear friends and family near and far - 

We love you and hope you are staying safe and healthy.  Eduardo and I wanted to update you on our marriage plans, since life as we know it is "up in the air"!

This pandemic, so difficult for all, has also been a most auspicious beacon of time and togetherness for Eduardo and me.  Not sure if we’ve been further apart than 3 feet since mid-March.  We took a 15-hour drive from Albany to Michigan during which we talked the entire way.

In what was an otherwise chaotic scene in NYC has turned into us getting to know each other in Albany and has provided us with the chance to plant and nurture the foundations that are the roots of our love. 

We have a lifetime’s worth of adventures, stories, hardships, inner battles to talk about.  We have found each other <3 

We continue to outline our intentions, commitments and follow them through as we lay the foundation of the rest of our lives.

AS FOR THE WEDDING:

We will* be getting married remotely through the City of Albany in the near future.  (The need for "sooner" is to start the petition process for Eduardo to stay in the US, which we are told is the most-sure bet at this point.). Do not worry - we will keep you abreast of all info <3 !  

We have decided to NOT* do a registry since so much has changed; instead, we thought it best, if you are inclined to contribute (AND NO PRESSURE OR JUDGEMENT -- your love is legitimately worth everything), we thought it best to request things that will help us move forward in our lives.

This includes:

+ English classes 5 days per week for 3 months (the school he is looking at is $500 / month) 

+ He also needs a hefty (like ALBANY HEFTY) winter coat and some winter boots

+ A "starter" fund to assist us on getting off on the right foot during a tumultuous time
