For the past 9 years, my family and I (led by my wonderful mother), have been sponsoring and financially supporting a Gazan refugee family in Jordan. The family is being raised by a single mother, Hala, who has little means to support herself, her 9 children (ages ranging from 2-15), and her elderly mother. They fled Gaza for Jordan, and instead of finding sanctuary there, they've been forced to live in unhealthy conditions with barely enough to survive on. They currently live in the Baqa'a refugee camp, in poor living conditions with little access to food, fresh water, and healthy sanitation. Recently, the family went through an extremely traumatic event and it has become dangerous for them to continue living in the camp and it is no longer physically safe for them to stay.
My family and I have been supporting them as much as we can, but we are asking for your generous help in raising emergency funds to relocate them out of the camp and into a safer and cleaner environment. All funds raised will go towards the relocation process and moving expenses, as well as setting up a fund for them to use for food, water, bills, and any other basic necessities they need.
Hala wants what any mother wants: to build a great life for her children, to see them taken care of, receive an education, and live a happy and healthy childhood like every child deserves. This young family has undergone more struggles and hardships than we will face during our entire lifetime. Most of us live in enormous privilege and it is our duty to assist those less fortunate the best we can. Hala and her family are in desperate need of help to leave their current dangerous situation as soon as possible. The amount we need to raise is unknown, but any donation in any amount is appreciated to help with the immediate relocation and any needs for the immediate future.

I am not related to the family, but we have been supporting them financially to the best of our abilities for many years. 100% of the funds received will go to the family via wire. I will provide proof of transfer and receipt once the funds are collected and sent.
