Equipping ABC Hopes Challenge

We know that each and every family has been met with their own unique and difficult challenges during the COVID-19 outbreak. Businesses are affected, families are impacted and the communities we’ve built have been put on pause. We at ABC Hopes, want you to know that we are here for you, to walk alongside you in this difficult season.

ABC Hopes was founded to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities, specifically in the arena of fitness. We recognize that during this “stay-at-home” order that our Hopers no longer have access to equipment or workout facilities. This is a problem, but we believe we have the solution.

Our campaign, Equipping ABC Hopes Challenge, has a goal to raise $7,500 to purchase kettlebells, dumbbells, yoga mats, jump ropes, resistance bands, medicine balls and the list goes on and on. This equipment will then be made available for our Hopers to checkout, similar to a library book, to use for a week to follow along with our (dis)ABILITIES Fitness program from home. Hopers can then return equipment, we will sanitize the equipment for safety and then new equipment can be checked out. We are bringing the gym to our Hopers!
