After being laid off in December 2019, I have found it hard to take care of my family and myself. Before Dallas was set to close down bars, theaters and any place which has large groups, I had just gotten hired ata movie theater. I was so ready to pay off my debts and finally say I was ok.. Not even a week after working a measly 3 shifts, totaling to 12 hours, Dallas County closed all theaters, the company I work for is until further notice to my knowledge. I've tried applying for unemployment and was not so lucky. I'm in debt due to a payday loan I took out, and my apartments are demanding rent and late fees. Although there is a ban on evictions until April 19th, there's still a fear they'll try once it's lifted. Our electric company (TXU) is one of few who aren't offering free electricity for 30-60 days, and so I have until March 30th to pay or they'll cut our service. If I lived alone I wouldn't be so worrisome, but I live with my husband, great grandmother and grandfather and have been their caretaker. So please, any help you can offer will help us.
