Close friends, family, and even some of you that have followed me on Twitter for a while probably know that I've been through some weird dental stuff over the past couple years. I had a lot of work done last year to solve a number of those issues, including completely solving the issues on the right side of my mouth and almost fixing everything else. I've got dental insurance, and while I had to pay $300+ in deductibles to get me this far, I've been glad to get as much as I have done and over with.

Since getting a temporary filling in my bottom leftmost molar last November, I knew I was going to need a crown to save the tooth and ensure the severe pain I was experiencing every day wouldn't return. I've been waiting for my insurance benefits to lapse into 2016, as at that time last year they claimed I had hit my maximum yearly benefit. Last week, my dentist called back, and told me my dental insurance would pay 50% of the bill for the crown.

This leaves me with a $598 co-pay in order to fix my tooth. That's my rent. It's frustrating to come so close to having this done and yet still have so much more to go. I know that I don't have a lot of time to do this - because the filling I have now is temporary, I'm putting myself at risk of greater complications by putting it off. It doesn't hurt nearly as much as it used to, but the pain is still there, as are other symptoms that I know only a crown can solve.

That's why I need your help. I'm only asking for the exact amount I'll need to get my tooth 100% fixed. I'm embarrassed to have to ask for help like this, but I'd be immensely grateful for your contribution, and it'd help me keep doing the work that I do. If you appreciate my writing on my personal Twitter, on Good Lil' Trans Girl, or on my Twine projects, know that your contribution will go directly to keeping me healthy and writing.

Thank you so much for even visiting. I appreciate your time. If you can't contribute, please share and RT this. Thank you, so much, from the bottom of my heart.
