This is a fundraiser to help out the children of Heather's younger sister. We are temporarily borrowing some items, but need to raise some money to purchase the things they need.

The Thompson household has taken in two babies that were in need of a place to stay. They are Heather's youngest sister's kids. Rylee just turned 1 year old, and Jade is only a few months old. Heather and I have been approved to care for the children until their mother can get through the requirements to retake custody.
Now that the children are with us, we have a better idea in what they need. We are looking to raise approximately $1000 to help us pay for clothes, equipment, diapers, toys, and other expenses that occur when taking in a couple of small babies.
The kids arrived at our house today (Oct 3), and they came with some clothes, a few toys, and a couple of packages of diapers. They are on WIC, so their nutritional requirements will be covered.
We are looking to raise money to purchase some winter clothes, socks, jackets, coats, blankets and baby towels. We are currently borrowing some baby equipment (walkers, swings, etc), but will need to purchase equipment not donated as the borrowing is supposed to be temporary. This will also assist the children's mother when she is able to regain custody so that she is better equipped to care for the children. A large portion of the fund will pay for diapers, wipes, and other supplies the children will require over the coming month or so.
Any offline donations of clothes, equipment, supplies or money will be posted towards this fund online. If you would like to purchase and donate offline, let us know and we can provide specifics on what is needed (including sizes, etc).
