More Info

Scarlet Day is facilitator for AG&AG Oxford Chapter, as well as owner of the Mayday Gun Range in Oxford. In December of 2022 she unexpectedly lost her husband of 30+ years, Jefferey. They were best friends, and this loss has turned the entire family's world upside down.

As an organization AG&AG is there for our sisters in whatever way we can be. And while we cannot make the grief Scarlet and her family are going through any less, we can at least try to ease some of their financial burden during this difficult time when everyone else has moved on with their lives and they are still stuck in the grief and loss. It is times like these that the AG&AG value of "generous" is put into action.

Here is an excerpt shared from Jefferey's Obituary:

"On Friday, December 16th, 2022, Jeffrey D. Day, a lifelong resident of Oxford, Ohio laid down in his bed, took his last breath, and went home to be with the Lord at age 57. Jeffrey was born in Cincinnati, Ohio November 27th, 1965 to Dennis Day and Barbara (Richardson) Day.

On December 28th, 1991 Jeff married Scarlet (Davis) Day. They shared the gift of over 30 years of marriage. It is important to Scarlet that it be shared that she prayed for a good man, but not too good and God gave her exactly that. All one had to do was look at his Facebook page and you would see those wonderful rough edges that made him the rugged man she adored.

Jeff is the proud father to three children, Moriah, Miranda, & Jeffrey Graham Day. He was the best Papaw to one grandson, Hawkin, who was one of his life's greatest joys. He often ranked his children on behavior but in his heart they were all number 1."
