Gemma's ACL Surgery

Wooof Wooof, my name is Gemma. Mom and Dad rescued me after I was tied up outside in the Arizona heat. Best Day of my Life!!!

My mom couldn't resist my cute little face w my perfect eyebrows!

I used to be a trouble maker hehe, really drove mom crazy but dad always loved me. It was fun but I grew out of that, I'm the best girl now!

My name was supposed to be Gem but Dad kept calling me Jim and that's a boys name so they call me Gemma now!

I love to smother everyone who comes to visit me! I mean that's the only reason you came over, right!?

I recently got Valley Fever, my joints were swollen and I walked with a limp because it hurt so bad, that really scared mom and dad. 

And then in the same week, I was in so much pain because I tore my ACL. And that really scared me!! I cried the loudest Dad ever heard!

Since then I haven't been able to use my back left leg. I just hop around on 3 legs but it's not that fun because I don't get to go outside and play at the park with my brother anymore! :-(

I will have to take medication for 6 to 12 months to get rid of this Valley Fever! 

And now I have to get surgery so I can walk one day again like normal.

Mom and Dad have been the best at taking care of me. 

But Woof I would really like to see if we can help Mom and Dad out with my surgery.... Mom told me I have to start working but I can't without all 4 legs!

I know its holiday season and you're buying presents for your loved ones. Anything will help my Mom and Dad.
