For nearly 45 years, the Boys & Girls Club of Troy has provided a safe, positive place for youth to grow, learn, play, interact and most importantly, develop into self-reliant, responsible members of our community. In fact, each year over 1,000 kids from nearly 40 different cities benefit from our programs that instill passion, pride, and perseverance.
However, during these unprecedented times, our kids need your support more than ever! And, we are turning to you to ask for your help.
"YES! That was awesome! GIMME FIVE!" "Gimme five, man! Way to go!" "We did it! Gimme five!" Giving five is a way to celebrate an accomplishment, or to provide encouragement, or to show friendship. Guess what? Giving five to the Boys & Girls Club of Troy does all of that too! A simple $5 donation can help support the future of a child aged 6-18 that walks through our doors every day. Just $5 can provide up to an hour of programming in one of our five (yes, five) core areas of development: Character and Leadership; Education and Career; Health and Life Skills; Sports, Fitness and Recreation; and the Arts. You may not think that a $5 donation can make a difference. But even running a marathon begins with a single step. And if we all take those steps together, imagine the impact we can have. We can keep another child safe after school. We can help more kids with their homework. We can give our youth a positive place to be themselves, make friends, play, learn and grow. That's an accomplishment worth celebrating, isn't it? So what do you say? GIMME FIVE!
