The Glen Burnie Technology & Innovation (GBTI) Scholarship was established in 2011 and is awarded annually to two graduating Glen Burnie High School seniors.
The scholarship recognizes outstanding academic achievement, community involvement and the pursuit of innovation, technological advancement and the entrepreneurial spirit within the fields of mathematics, science, engineering and business.
Recipients of the GBTI Scholarship are awarded a $1,000 scholarship upon graduation from Glen Burnie High School to pursue a 4-year degree in any technology driven discipline or major.
The GBTI Scholarship is funded by GBHS alumni who are passionate about innovation and encouraging talent through opportunity. The Scholarship Committee includes current GBHS staff and GBHS alumni.
Your contributions recognize academic excellence at Glen Burnie High School.
Contributions made to the GBTI Scholarship are tranferred to Glen Burnie High School and go directly to the winners of the GBTI Scholarship.
Winners of the GBTI Scholarship are notified and recognized at the annual Senior Awards Night, which takes place each spring at Glen Burnie High School.
