My husband, Spc. In the Army, medically Retired 1995-2003 (Res) 2008-2011 (AD) He was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington assigned to 1st Battalion 37th Field Artillery Regiment 3rd Brigade 2nd Infantry Division Stryker Brigade Combat Team and Combat Service in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was medically retired due to service-connected injuries, in 2011 and has spent the last decade struggling with PTSD and trying to find just a little bit of peace with it all. He has fought PTSD and tried many different treatments both holistic and Medical He was introduced to golf as a child and played into early adulthood when a friend invited him to play golf six months ago and he reluctantly agreed. He had fun and went out again, and again, and now is getting private lessons and starting to feel human again. This dream is to professional golf and he wants to attend Professional Golfers Career College, Hilton Head, SC. The kids and I support him 100% and in order to do that we need some support. He will use his military benefits to attend college and the Allowance to pay his monthly camper spot. Since we have a farm the children and I will be staying home for the 16 months he will be gone so finances are rough, I have not been able to work since covid. I am saving every penny and we cut back our budget but we will still fall short. My goal is to have him there to start the semester in January. Anything help and we are truly thankful.
