14 months ago I was living the life, wife. Home, six figures income and then a life changing event changed all of that. On November 27, 2017. I had a rare condition that caused a aneurysm in my brain. This event lead to stroke. I had to re-learn how to eat, walk and function in everyday life. In the process I lost my wife, house and means to make a living. I do this to help others that have gone through this and can't speak, walk or help themselves. Please help me spread the word about this life changing event called a stroke.
Join us on March 16, 2019 in Piedmont Park as we celebrate the everyday superheroes right here in Georgia! Brain injury effects thousands of Georgians every year, and is the leading cause of disability for adults worldwide. Our walk raises critical funds to support these superheroes as they work to get back to everyday life. The Brain Injury Association of Georgia is the only organization in our state working to provide access to resources for people with brain injury as they return home. Support our work with your steps! Come run, walk, or roll with us!
Registration prices increase on March 1st.
