More Info

David was born on August 11, 2020 in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador with Kerniterus, which caused damage to his locomotor system that can be restored with physical therapies. David was unable to receive a blood transfusion when he was born because of the lack of clinical equipment in the island of his residence (Santa Cruz). At the age of 4 months he started having seizures and today at 10 months he cannot stand or walk. A month ago, he began receiving physical therapies including oxygenation of his tissues in the hyperbaric chamber thanks to which he can now hold his head up and sit. The objective of this project is to collect funds so that his parents can continue with the therapies so he can walk.
