Our initiative is to provide laptops for the homeless today as a community-driven effort to address technological homelessness faced by many fairing homeless individuals. It is the goal of this initiative to raise enough funds to purchase thousands of laptops for our homeless family and provide them with the resources they need to access essential services.
To achieve this goal, we are partnering with local organizations and businesses Like The Bridge, Our Calling, Union Gospel Mission, and Austin Street Center to gather donations and raise awareness about the initiative. We are also reaching out to the wider community to encourage individuals to donate their gently used laptops and other technology.
