About My Campaign

The CDC estimates that Autism is currently affecting 1 in every 68 children born today – that means that over 60,000 children will be diagnosed with Autism this year in the US alone. More children will be diagnosed with Autism this year than with AIDS, diabetes and cancer combined.

Autism is one of the most devastating disorders of early childhood, typically causing lifelong impairment in every aspect of a young person's development. Over 40 years of scientific research has resulted in a treatment and education technology that radically changes outcomes for the better. These applied behavioral analytic techniques are not yet available to most children with autism.

When it comes to therapy services, it’s easy to forget that Autism doesn’t just affect children in cities. Unfortunately, families in rural locations find it challenging to get the care their children need … but we aim to change that. Integrated Behavioral Technologies, Inc. (IBT) is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to delivering affordable services to children with Autism, other developmental disabilities, or behavioral disorders to families living in less populated areas, providing access to quality services for families without commuting for hours a week into the city or spending an arm and a leg.

Delivering those services comes with a few challenges, though. IBT maintains a lean, dedicated staff to provide therapy services. Our consultants and providers often travel 50+ miles one way (with no mileage reimbursement) to deliver services.  Families and therapists split the cost of teaching materials out of pocket.

Bottom line - we really need your help, and the families that depend on us to guide them through the winding path of raising a child with Autism need your help.  These children want be able to tell their parents “I love you.”  They want to walk, to learn, to play and to laugh with everyone else, but without intensive therapy, they may never realize those dreams.

Incorporated in 2002, IBT has maintained an integrated, family centered approach while growing to meet the demands created by the increase in the prevalence of autism.

IBT’s goal is to provide needed services to children with special needs and their families. But we can do more. With your help, we could help more children get the services they need.
