On May 31, 2024, over 44 people family and friends from all over the world attended Michelle's sentencing, with more than 17 speakers sharing the truth about who Michelle Troconis truly is—the caring, nurturing, and loving human being they know she will never harm or assist in harming another human being, much less a mother like herself. Each one of them stood before Judge Kevin Randolph, creating a historic event never before seen in that courtroom. The room was filled with Michelle's supporters, creating a balanced atmosphere of love and care on one side, contrasted by anger and revenge on the other.
Not once did the victim's family mention the real perpetrator who cowardly took his own life. In contrast, Michelle's family and friends stood up and sympathized with Jennifer's family, especially the children. Despite the judge punishing Michelle with the maximum sentence of 14.5 years for a crime she didn't commit, the support was overwhelming. The family will appeal, and the truth will prevail. This moment set an example for the world, showing that we can still offer love in the face of the monstrous evil that the Troconis family, especially Michelle, has endured.

Today is a profoundly sorrowful day. We have decided to continue this campaign to assist Michelle's family in their new battle - the appeal. Michelle was wrongfully convicted on all counts. This is an injustice. Michelle is a beautiful person, a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and a free human being. We will continue to fight this injustice until we see her free again. The justice system has failed us, but we must remain strong to help Michelle fight this injustice. Thank you all for the outpouring of love and messages.

This campaign is drawing to a close! We, Michelle's friends, wanted to share this update and extend our gratitude to each and every one of you, as well as to the many who have joined us in our daily prayers for Michelle and her family. Last week underwent her third and final interrogation, where she once again cooperated with the investigation. Additionally, Michelle's sister Marisela and her mother provided statements outside the court. Michelle has received numerous letters, and her sister read them aloud: "We have received hundreds of letters describing how Michelle has positively impacted people's lives. I will share some excerpts: 'What we have read in the news is nothing like the Michelle we know. Michelle is an exceptional, loving parent, completely dedicated to raising her daughter. She is responsible, thoughtful, caring, and would never act in any way to harm anyone.'" After reading more letters, Michelle's mother also shared a statement on another day. Click here to view the videos. With heartfelt gratitude, we, Michelle's friends, thank you for the outpouring of support, and the unity within this family serves as an example for us all. We trust in God and the legal system that Michelle will soon regain her freedom. Thank you.

Update on Michelle's Legal Battle:
We have extended the Fundly campaign until the end of the month. The Troconis Family continues to fight this battle with unwavering determination. As we enter the fourth week and the 12th day of the trial, Michelle continues to maintain her innocence.
It was heartbreaking to witness Michelle's interviews one and two, where she continuously attempted to assist the investigators. Michelle's sister, Claudia, gave a statement outside the court, expressing, "My sister attempted to cooperate not once, not twice, but three times with the police, saying everything, trying to assist them in the best way she could in this case... and then, she was charged. This went on for more than 10 hours, my sister telling them, 'I'll do anything to help you, I don't know anything.' I know everyone wants answers, but my sister is not the answer..." Claudia concluded her emotional statement, accompanied by her mom and dad.

Statement from Michelle's Parents:
“We are heartbroken and deeply troubled following the revelations from yesterday’s hearing. We learned that there were other uncharged suspects, and that someone close to Fotis Dulos was granted immunity through a verbal agreement back in 2019 by the former chief state prosecutor, without any thorough investigation. Our hearts ache as we see the focus unfairly narrowing only to our beloved daughter, Michelle. Despite her earnest cooperation with the police back in 2019, she has been enduring these burdensome charges for over four and a half years. It’s agonizing for us to watch our innocent daughter suffer under the weight of a system that seems to be turning a blind eye to justice. We plead with everyone involved, especially the investigators, to see the pain and injustice being inflicted upon Michelle and to reconsider the direction of their pursuit. Our family’s plea is simple: seek the truth and fairness that Michelle so rightly deserves.”

Yesterday marked Michelle Troconis' 38th court appearance since June 2019, which has raised serious concerns about the fairness of our justice system. We're unable to delve into the details here, but recent news reports stating, "Worker whose truck allegedly used in Jennifer Dulos disappearance granted immunity, attorneys say," sharply contrasts with Michelle's treatment. Despite being a Latina woman and natural-born American citizen, she continues to face challenges to her rights. Your support is crucial; this could happen to anyone. The Troconis family deeply appreciates your ongoing love and support. We'll keep you updated through this platform. God bless you all!
