Help Qamar and her family reach safety

Hello friends, my name is Mariana Vamplew and I recently spent 10 days in Abu Dhabi visiting children from Gaza who had been evacuated due to their medical needs.Among the children I met was 10 year old Qamar and her mother Faten. Qamar's lost her leg when the apartment Faten was living in with her three other children was destroyed when the mosque close by to their home was bombed in an Israeli airstrike.Due to the severity of Qamar's injuries and the collapse of the medical system in Gaza, she was evacuated to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical Centre in Abu Dhabi with the aid of Gaza Kinder Relief, where she has been enduring a long and difficult recovery. Qamar's mother Faten had to make the impossible decision to go to UAE with Qamar as her three other children, 17 year old daugher Shahad and twin sons Osama and Waad, remained in Gaza.Qamar's father has been killed and Faten's remaining three children have no one left to look after them, they only have each other. Shahad has an infant who was born in mid January 2024 and the baby's father is missing. There is no safe place in Gaza and Faten's three other children are in constant danger of being injured or killed by bombings, snipers, starvation or disease. They are fleeing together from place to place almost daily in a desperate attempt to continue to live. Due to communication blackouts in Gaza, communication is difficult and Faten can often go days without knowing if her other three children are still alive.Faten is the main breadwinner of her family and her entire life in Gaza is now gone. She only has her three remaining children there who are not safe and will not be for the foreseeable future. All funds raised will go to Faten to reunite her family and get them all to safety, together.
