Redford Karate School, a member of the International Tang Soo Do Federation, is known as one of the elite martial arts schools in Metro Detroit. We have been referred to as the “Harvard” of martial arts and have been named by “Click on Detroit.com” as one of the best schools for Karate.
Starting from humble beginnings of only 3 students in a 700 square foot building we now train more than 200 students in a expanded facility. Our students range in age from 3 to 75.
Students from all ages have been invited and are training countless number of hours to participate in the International Tang Soo Do Michigan Tournament on Saturday, March 22 at Lyndon High School and in Lisbon, Portugal July 24-24, 2014 for the World Championship.
We will be traveling as a team together for the Michigan tournament and World Championship this summer. With your help, we can make competing at these tournaments a reality where we will represent the Metro Detroit area with pride and commitment. Many students are unable to compete with your support because travel costs and tournament fees are costly.
Won't you help us with sending students to these tournaments? Karate is a self-confidence builder, health benefit and a safe haven for many students at Redford Karate.
