In our three years we have been able to do quite a bit for our veterans but we would love to be able to do more! One of our veterans had a knee replacement that ended up getting terribly infected and he was told he would loose his leg. We were able to get him in with incredible, top notch doctors who were able to clear out the infection and replace the previous hardware in his knee. We were able to be there for him every step of the way by taking him to all of his appointments and creating a support team for him to be there for him for the long and painful process. He is now fully recovered and jumped for the first time in years after healing from the surgery! Currently we are trying to do the same thing again for a veteran who needs a new hip replacement.
