My family has experienced some difficult trouble for the past couple of months. Recently, my mother was let go from a job, and the money we expected to come from it never came. We’re close to getting evicted and while we’ve been blessed to have food these past couple of months but it’s beginning to become more difficult.
While food pantries are an option, many require a car—which my family doesn’t have. We lost our car almost a year ago, and while it’s affected us we haven’t really felt the loss until now. To get anywhere you need money (you never realize how much, until you're counting penny's and considering you’d rather eat, than pay for transportation to get to a place 2 hours away).
$2,000 would change my family’s life. We would be able to pay our rent (not get evicted), bills, and afford food. Anything would help.
