It is our belief that there is no better tribute to our nations heroes than to ensure their family legacy is looked after and supported .

When a soldiers life is abruptly taken , their families are dealt a devastating blow. During their grieving process they must also adjust to a number of difficult life hurdles. Often the fallen soldiers income is the families sole source of income. We are dedicated to serving these families with the same passion and integrity their soldiers displayed while serving our great country. Our goal is to assist these struggling families in all of their lives, including housing, food, jobs, grief counseling, health and child care.

We also provide the above mentioned items to homeless veterans.   the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Point-in-Time (PIT) count showed that nationally 37,085 Veterans experienced homelessness

  • 51% of individual homeless veterans have disabilities

  • 50% have serious mental illness

  • 70% have substance abuse problems

  • compared to 38% of non-veterans

  • an average of 22 veterans commit suicide every day.

  •  rates among Veterans were higher and rose faster than those among non-Veteran U.S. adults.

*In addition to the giving levels below, for as little as $19.00 a month, you can lend a helping hand and assist us in carrying on the legacy of our fellow soldiers. For recurring monthly donations, please visit vsvf.org.

Join today and help expand  our Military's motto of  " No Man Left Behind "  to include the spouses and children of their brave soldiers
