Hope for Kids Leadership Academy (HFKLA) provides a 5-week long program incorporated with many experiences I know would replenish not only my faith, but my leadership as well.

Going on my first Hope Youth Corp (HYC) I was enlightened to a part of me that I never knew was there. I began to have a passion for the lost, those hurting around the world, and children I can mentor. The Hope for Kids Leadership Academy (HFKLA) will further that passion to giving back by pushing my faith to areas of uncomfort or even pure exhaustion. This 5-week long program includes serving at an organization called One Day at A Time (ODAT) that provides drug rehabilitation and street cleanups. I will be a counselor for the ACR Teen Camp at Camp Hope for Kids, as well as sharing my faith at colleges in and around North Philadelphia. I will have the opportunity to work with families caring for children with special needs and counsel children from inner city Philadelphia. In addition, I will go through extensive ministry training building my character and faith. This opportunity and PRIVILEAGE is important to me and I strive to take full advantage of the growth that will come out of it. Please help me have a summer of impact by donating below!
