HKS Womens Network: Empowerment Fundraising 2019 Campaign

The Harvard Kennedy School Women's Network needs your support. With your help, we can make a bigger impact around the world.

What will your funds support? We have a few benchmarks.

$1,500: We can cover the day-to-day operational costs of running HKSWN. This includes hosting the website, managing our listserv, and sending out quarterly newsletters.

$2,500: We can cover our day-to-day operational costs AND provide tangible event support for our 50 Chapter Lead networks around the world as well as host network-wide programming events. 

$5,000: We can cover our day-to-day operational expenses, provide tangible support for Chapter Lead, AND support the amazing women studying at the Harvard Kennedy School with scholarships to cover books and other miscellaneous expenses.

Our Chapter Lead Program is in 50 networks around the world, including:

• U.S.-based networks such as Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Denver, Los Angeles, NYC, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, Washington DC

• International networks such as Bangalore, Beijing, Bogota, Brussels, Cairo, Copenhagen (Scandinavia), Delhi, Guatemala City (Central America), Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Israel, Johannesburg, Lausanne, London, Madrid, Mexico City, Manila, Mumbai, Nairobi, Paris, Rabat, Seoul, Singapore.

• In total, the HKSWN has 75 Chapter Leads in major cities of the world.

• Support the work of the Network (with tax-deductible donation)
• Sign up for membership (to receive updates & announcements) 
• Join a Chapter (for local events)
• Participate in our mentoring program

We are dedicated in supporting and amplifying the work of Harvard Kennedy School alumnae. 

Your contribution will help us grow the network, build our newsletter outreach, and support programming development for our alumnae around the world. 

Ideas you’ve shared in 2021 include: a mentorship program, webinars and podcasts with HKS professors, and political trainings program, women empowerment through career networking, non-profit social, CA cohort mentoring in entrepreneurship and social impact. Many such events have taken in place very successfully and created bigger impacts among the HKS Women's community.

Now we are working for the next big ideas and need your participation and encouragement through this 2021 Fundraising Campaign
