To know Bonnie Schmidt was to know the projects and organizations to which she was dedicated; Today, at CCC’s 25th anniversary, we would like to honor Bonnie Schmidt with a new rowing boat christened with her name.

In 1999, Bonnie became an integral part of developing and launching Conestoga Crew Club, and she was President of CCC in 2002-2003. Her children were collegiate rowers and her son, Andrew, got engaged at the boathouse where CCC launches.
As we navigate life after the loss of Bonnie to cancer in June 2023, we believe that we can celebrate her with one of the things that she loved most: a racing double. Imagine her delight, laughter, and joyful tears upon seeing a boat that recognizes and symbolizes the gifts she bestowed on us.
We invite you to join us in this effort to purchase a boat and celebrate Bonnie's passion for rowing, her dedication to the Conestoga Crew Club, and her many contributions to the lives of those she loved. Your donation will ensure that Bonnie's legacy lives for years to come and opens doors for students to enter the world of rowing.
Please help in keeping this a surprise for Bonnie's husband, Stephen. Our goal is to present him with this boat upon final purchase, and again at the boat christening, to which you will be invited. This will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Bonnie, her love of rowing, and her many contributions to the Conestoga Crew Club.
