LOVING ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN

Tucked in a rural village of Sarlahi district, Nepal, Lunis Kinderworld was founded by Purushottam Karki and his wife when they saw a need to provide a proper and affordable learning environment for children in their community. They wanted a place where children will be nurtured and encouraged to reach their full potential. Women’s Federation for World Peace USA is partnering with WFWP Nepal to help Lunis Kinderworld build a place where parents feel comfortable and confident to send their children.

The school is currently located in Purushottam’s home which was converted to classrooms. However, they desperately need their own facilities so they can continue to expand and offer a wholesome learning opportunity to many more children. This is where our campaign comes in and where we need your help! With your support, Lunis Kinderworld will provide quality education working in hand with parents to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive. Together we can help Lunis become the best place for kids to learn and grow in Nepal!

EDUCATING THE EDUCATORS

We are truly inspired by Purushottam and his family’s dedication to his community; his heart to serve goes beyond this one school. With their own facilities, Lunis also plans to open their doors to offer education for other teachers in the area, to learn better methods of caring for young children and how to create a safe, happy, and healthy environment for them. Since education for teachers of preschool and kindergarten is not widely available, Lunis will become an extremely valuable resource for the entire village and beyond.
