The Kelley Evening MBA Program at IUPUI has long been a premier option for those seeking an MBA, and has successfully connected students to Central Indiana businesses and professionals throughout their training. Kelley’s top-ranked part-time MBA is a highly sought-after program for emerging business leaders, and one clear opportunity to support students has arisen: training mentees and mentors followed by fostering mentor relationships between current students and alumni.

The Kelley IUPUI M³ - Moment to Momentum Mentoring Program addresses this vital need for our students. Launching with the Evening MBA Program, M³ connects current students with alumni and Indianapolis business leaders who serve as mentors. This is not the average mentoring program, however. Mentors and mentees will receive training on how to leverage the mentor-mentee relationship to its fullest.

Your IU Day gift propels mentorship forward. Your gift helps us provide the best mentoring experience by funding a student subscription to Kelley’s custom digital mentoring platform. The software will help current students find mentors who best match their needs, reduce transaction costs to make getting together easier, and provide a wealth of resources to enhance these mentoring relationships both through the platform and organically.

The need for strong mentoring relationships is well documented. The Integrating Women Leaders Foundation found mentoring is the second most important aspect of developing leadership skills. According to Kelley executive coach, Eric Johnson, mentorship needs to be a top priority for success in professional socialization and development. The wide array of resources resulting from mentorship is the foundation of career advancement.

Upon successful implementation of M³ in the Evening MBA Program, we hope to expand the program to undergraduates and other degree programs within the Kelley School of Business.

To celebrate IU Day, we invite you to help us kick start the Kelley M³ - Moment to Momentum Mentoring Program and to invest in the personal development of Indianapolis’ next generation of business leaders.  Please make a gift today!
