About Me
Kate is the CEO of Ruby, a virtual receptionist and live chat answering business serving our small business community. She joined the Teen Kitchen Project board a year ago after learning about their incredible services when seeking out meal support for her daughter’s teacher who was a single mom fighting stage 4 cancer. Teen Kitchen Project teaches teens cooking skills and the impact of healthy food choices while providing an opportunity to build connections through community service. Volunteer delivery angels bring meals to those in need while providing a moment of kindness, connection and empathy. Founded in 2012, Teen Kitchen Project has delivered over 200,000 meals to those in need from cancer, to COVID to the recent California Fires.

This year’s COVID pandemic means that those who have a critical or chronic illness are facing additional stress by needing to go to the store to shop for ingredients for fear of contracting COVID.

Your gift will help one person struggling with illness support by providing a bag of prepared meals delivered to their door.
It’s urgent that you give before the end of the year. If a meal delivery client doesn’t receive the help they need in time, then they could face additional challenges with their healing which may send them back to the hospital. We don’t want that to happen, and neither do you.
But your gift will allow deliveries to continue! And your gift will support all the work of Teen Kitchen Project.
