I’m not sure if you’ve seen the news about the hurricane in the Bahamas three weeks ago. 50 people are known to have died, 1300 people are still missing, bodies are still being recovered. The islands are completely devastated.

There’s no running water, the limited food available is being rationed for essentially the entire nation. It’s being called a crisis of epic proportions.

This summer I became active with a non-profit charity called Caring Hands. This charity sends nutritionally dense, easy to prepare meals to people who need them. The meals cover all essential micro nutrition and macro nutrition. I really love what they do.

I am raising money to send meals to the Bahamas. The best part is the charity is matching every single donation! So for every meal we send, they send one also! We can literally help DOUBLE the number of people. $25 purchases a meal pack which feeds 5 people.

I’d be so grateful if you would purchase a meal pack. If you are feeling particularly generous, $100 would feed a family of five for an entire week because of the donation matching.

Thank you so much for reading, considering, and helping others recover from this horrific devastation.
