The West Slope Foundation was created to assist Caldor Fire Survivors meet immediate and long-term unmet needs. We began our efforts in September, and continue to be the main support for the West Slope as the main distribution hub for Financial Assistance, Goods and Services being offered not only by us but “Better Together” a group that has over 60 organizations and Agencies that we partner with and provide us the ability to hold a distribution event every 3rd Sunday here in Somerset that has provided needed goods such as Tarps, Ropes, Crock Pots, Heaters, warm clothes and Coats, Kitchen Kits and a whole lot more. From your incredible donations, we have been able to purchase other Goods and Services, and have distributed them ourselves, sometimes door to door to Survivors that we have identified and vetted. To date, we have provided Financial Assistance to our Survivors of over 98,000.00, but we want to be able to provide much more.
